Full time employees regularly scheduled to work at least 35 hours a week and part time employees regularly scheduled to work at least 20 hours a week are eligible to enroll in the Benefit Plus programs. You have 30 days from your date of hire to enroll in critical illness and accident insurance, and pre-paid legal benefits. You can enroll in the other benefits at any time. Enrollment is through the Benefits Plus website.
When your benefits begin depends on when you enroll. If you enroll between the 1st and 15th of the month, your benefits begin on the first of the following month. If you enroll between the 16th and 31st of the month, your benefits begin on the first of the next following month.

Cost of Coverage
You pay the full cost of coverage, but benefit from group discounted rates. You will have one Jefferson payroll deduction for all of the plans you choose through Benefits Plus. The cost of each coverage is available on the Benefits Plus website.
