Living Our Values Award

At Jefferson, our mission is: We Improve Lives.

The values we display in our daily work are what allow us to be successful in achieving our mission. The Living Our Values (LOV) award was created to identify and honor the employees across our organization who truly demonstrate Jefferson’s values and behaviors consistently:

-      Put People First by being service-minded, respectful and embracing diversity

-      Be Bold & Think Differently by being innovative, courageous and solution-oriented

-      Do the Right Thing by being safety-focused and demonstrating integrity and accountability

Living Our Values is a quarterly award. Each quarterly nomination window remains open for approximately two months. The Living Our Values Committee will review the nominations and will award a winner for each entity. Winners will be contacted by local members of the Living Our Values Committee.

To be recognized for this award, the nominated individual demonstrates excellence in living and modeling behaviors aligned with Jefferson’s Enterprise Mission, “We Improve Lives.” Specifically, this individual goes above and beyond to consistently exhibit one or more of Jefferson’s enterprise values and corresponding behaviors (listed below). Their actions have resulted in an exceptional experience for a patient, staff member, team, student, or community member. Living our Values is an enterprise-wide program that is available to every employee at every Jefferson.

Referencing the specific behaviors aligned with each of our three values, the employee must meet the criteria outlined in the nomination form. Please be as specific as possible when providing examples to support the fact that the nominee goes above and beyond in their work. The more specificity around the nominee’s actions and impact, the higher quality the submission will be.

Individual winners will receive a movie ticket package including 2 tickets and concessions to any participating United Artists theater. Winners will also receive a digital badge of honor on the enterprise employee portal, myJeffHub, and will also be publicized on the platform and their respective entity intranets. Winners will also be invited to an annual awards event to celebrate all Jefferson Heroes.
