Jefferson Nurse Julie Tang

Jefferson Flexible Nursing Pool

The Jefferson flexible nursing pool offers you the opportunity to work in an exciting and challenging environment in a variety of settings. It provides a work schedule that allows you to balance your professional nursing career with your personal life.

Professional nurses who join the Jefferson flexible nursing pool are scheduled on an "as needed" basis to supplement staffing needs. The Jefferson flexible nursing pool allows clinicians an excellent opportunity to practice in critical care, telemetry and medical/surgical units. Individual skills and competencies determine where a clinician is assigned.

Once hired, you will self-schedule your time availability and our staffing coordinator will direct you to practice at any of our three hospitals in Philadelphia, including Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience in Center City and at Methodist Hospital in South Philadelphia, depending on the need.
